Serena Williams, after a not so impressive first-round, managed to recover in the second bout against Zidansek with 6-2, 6-3 thus advancing into the third round of this year’s Australian Open Championship.
Serena is currently vying for her 24th grand slam title which has managed to escape her twice since the birth of her daughter.
Her sister, Venus, however, crashed out whilst playing against Coco Gauff.
Alexis Ohanian, her spouse was seen visibly anxious to see Serena emerge on top. Will Serena make history at this year’s Championship?
