The minister of science and technology Ogbona Onu has stressed on the need to eradicate malaria in Nigeria
Mr Onu while receiving a report from the ministerial committee tasked to end the scourge says there is a need to encourage home grown solutions by Nigerians for Nigeria and Africa
He also adds that the task to eradicate malaria must be seen as a national challenge aimed at reducing unnecessary deaths of women and children and reveals that the federal government will support indigenous research and innovation aimed at eradicating malaria.
