The Saudi Arabia Royal family is in the news once more, however this time its for the Crown’s Princess alleged order which had her bodyguard beat up a French labourer who was making renovations on her luxury apartment in Paris.
Hassa bint Salman, the daughter of King Salman is currently facing charges for ordering the assault on Ashraf Eid who took a photo of her in her home in September 2016. Eid allegedly disclosed that he was beaten up, his tools seized, tied up and ordered to kiss the princess’ feet.
He also in a statement to Le Point news magazine claimed that the princess shouted that he didn’t deserve to live and should be killed
The Princess has however denied the claims in absentia reportedly suspected her apartment photos were to be sold on the Avenue Foch while her bodyguard, Rani Saidi who was involved disclosed that Arabs go to many lengths to get pictures of their princess. Read his staement below
“When I heard the princess cry for help, I came and saw them gripping the phone,” he told the court.
“I grabbed him and overpowered him. I did not know his intentions,” he said. “In 12 years of work, we had stories like that. Arabs want photos and the princess is someone very important for them.”
