Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Sunday in Makurdi, vowed to Nigerians that impunity would soon become a thing of the past in the country.

According to him, the upper chamber of the National Assembly led by him, would not accommodate impunity.

This was at the thanksgiving service for Senator Barnabas Gemade, as he celebrated turning 70 in a church in Makurdi.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, who was also in attendance, showed appreciation to members of the National Assembly for acting against impunity in the country.

The governor said the hardships of the past few months experienced by the people of Benue State enabled them to identify their true friends.
