French President, Emmanuel Macron has reiterated France’s support for Ukraine, as it prepared to mark both its independence from Soviet rule in 1991 and the six months since Russian troops invaded.
Macron said Russia “abandoned” principles of international law, and that France and its allies will continue to support Ukraine’s fight for independence.
Macron in a speech said it is a fight for sovereignty and territorial integrity, and that the country’s determination to help has not changed.
