The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has expressed his thoughts on the zoning agreement within the All Progressives Congress, APC, political party. The minister has as many others lent his voice that the zoning terms be adhered to.
Amaechi has insisted that the zoning agreement must be duly followed. If all goes as he plans, the next president for the APC will emerge from the South-East.
The Minister is not the only one pushing for the zoning agreement to be upheld as the sitting Minister of Works, Babatunde Fashola, has also urged that the zoning arrangement as stipulated by the founding fathers be adhered to.
The APC political party has the majority votes in the House of Representatives, has more states in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and produced the sitting president.
