The former secretary to the state government, Tunji Bello has said that the government of his former boss, Akinwunmi Ambode failed because of lack of emotional intelligence.
In his farewell message to his friends and colleagues who served under the Ambode administration, he said the administration was characterised by lack of democracy and arrogance.
He said “our main drawback is our government inability to apply enough emotional intelligence in the administration of the state… including interpersonal skills, interpersonal relationship, humility, respect for all well, established morals of government, disregard for the accomplishment of others.”
