In their quest for potable drinking water, residents of Bauchi suburb, North-East Nigeria, are calling on government and cooperate organizations to come to their aid as they struggle with animals for a source of water. 

The dry season is here again, a time when dwellers in most parts of northern Nigeria finds it difficult to get access to good water which is very essential to life. 

In some suburbs within Bauchi metropolis access to potable drinking water is a big challenge as residents lament the hardships they pass through to get good water.

The people decried the absence of government initiatives in terms of making life better for them through the provision of clean, potable water. 
Nigeria is expected to meet the SDGs on water and sanitation by the year 2030.
