After seeking to be released based on the possible effects of the coronavirus in March 2020, a federal judge has now approved for Robert Kelly’s trial to continue in New York City.
R. Kellly who is facing a series of allegations including 5-counts of racketeering, 4-counts of violating the Mann Act, sex-trafficking charges and a host of others will resume trial on the 9th of August in New York.
R Kelly went viral in 2019 with the Surviving R. Kelly docuseries by Lifetime which opened up a can of worms of his not so decent lifestyle, many of which he is now being tried for. R. Kelly has been held in federal custody since 2019 in Chicago and has pleaded not guilty.
