R. Kelly facing new Sexual Allegation Crimes in Minnesota

R Kelly’s music career has allegedly been put on hold by his record label while the claims of sexual misconduct against him are being investigated by the police.
Dailymail reports that his label RCA/Sony has revealed that it will no longer put any money into his projects or release new material until the criminal investigations are done.
The Chicago born singer is currently facing allegations from several women over different forms of abuse as discussed in the docu-series “Surviving R Kelly” which aired on cable channel Lifetime.
TMZ also reports that the 52-year-old had recently been recording a new album which he still has to release, as well as another two which is stated under the rules of his contract.

The presence of a “Morals clause” in R Kelly’s contract with the flagship recording label of Sony Music Group, which gives them the right to end their work with him, is yet to be ascertained.

Other artists signed to RCA/Sony include Shakira, Usher, Kings of Leon, Craig David and Britney Spears.

According to the discussions in the Lifetime Document-series, the R&B singer is accused of running an ‘abusive cult’, with claims that he preyed on several young women.
