The never-ending scandal surrounding R. Kelly has taken its toll on his daughter, Buku Abi.
In the latest episode of a reality show, the eldest child of the singer opened up about the impact of the drama that made her almost try to take her own life.
She said “I had to drop out of school. I’ve had parents not let their children hang out with me I spend a lot of days, or nights, crying. I’m sad, and I have the right to be sad and to the point where I almost tried to take my life”.
Recently, Kelly was arrested by NYPD detectives and Department of Homeland Security agents in Chicago on federal sex crime charges.
