Britain’s Queen Elizabeth published her first post on The Royal Family’s Instagram page on Thursday (March 7) to celebrate the visit to the Science museum according to a tweet from The Royal Family Twitter account.
The 92-year-old monarch posted on Instagram about a letter in the Royal archives written to her great-great-grandfather Prince Albert from Charles Babbage, the pioneer of the computer.
Not too long after posting, it got over 34,000 likes and generated more than 600 comments.
The post added “it seems fitting to me that I publish this Instagram post, at the Science Museum which has a long championed technology, innovation and inspired the next generation of inventors.”
The Queen was visiting the museum to announce it’s new summer exhibition, Top Secret and open a new space for supporters to be known as the Smith Centre.
