The President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has met with President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina, hours after collecting his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
TINUBU used the opportunity to thank President Buhari for his support during the electioneering process.
He also presented his certificate of return to the President.
EARLIER, the president-elect pledged to uphold the unity of the nation which he said is sacrosanct for the survival of the country.
Amidst the disappointment of losing out at the presidential election, he urged the opposition to join hands with him to build a country where every citizen is given a sense of belonging.
