President Buhari issues stern warning to Nigeria’s Enemies, Like a Former General!

Nigeria’s President, Mohammadu Buhari has issued a stern warning to those attacking the security framework of his government. In a very unfamiliar fashion, the President issued an indirect warning to those he claims want his administration to fail.

The current administration had previously claimed to be privy to those against the widespread insecurity, however, have refused to share that information with the public, despite calls to do so.

In a series of tweets, the president warned that he would give his antagonists the shock of their lives. The statement, very bold and untypical of the president who has most times not shared enough on security happenings in the country.

I receive daily security reports on the attacks on critical national infrastructure, and it is very clear that those behind them want this administration to fail.

There must be zero tolerance for all those bent on destroying our country by promoting crime and insurrection.”

Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian civil war.

Of course, the latter part of his message generated some chagrin from Nigerians on social media who can’t wait for the President to speak this new language.
