President Mohammadu Buhari has today confirmed the appointment of Mohammed Adamu as the Inspector General of Police during the Nigeria Police Council Meeting held today at the Presidential Villa.
The decision was announced by the new Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, Kayode Fayemi. IGP Adamu had been serving as the acting IGP since the former IGP Ibrahim Idris left office after retirement.
