South Wales Police have confirmed they have opened proceedings into a complaint made by Cardiff City over alleged threats made by Willie McKay, Emiliano Sala’s agent.
McKay, who booked the flight which claimed the life of Sala in January, allegedly confronted senior members of staff at Cardiff City in person and over the phone, threatening to kill everybody at the club.
The dispute between the English club and Willie McKay stems from McKay’s allegation that Cardiff failed to provide Sala with travel arrangements back to Cardiff from France, which the club has denied.
