Eight bandits have been killed by the Police who foiled an attempted invasion of Galadiman Kogo Community in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.
According to some of the natives, there was a fire exchange between the gunmen and the mobile policemen.
Members of the community commended the mobile Policemen for the success recorded in the Galadiman Kogo community of the Local Government Area.
Galadiman Kogo Community is one that has been under the attacks of bandits over time.
DSP Wasiu Abiodun, the Police Public Relations Officer of the state, did not respond to calls for confirmation of the incident when a call was put through to him.
