The troubled French star who has not played a competitive match since boxing day last year is desperate to leave Old Trafford in search of a “new challenge” as he stated last summer.

He was unable to secure a move away from the red devils as the club was desperate to hold on to him. The club set a high price tag of a £120 million to scare suitors away which worked as both Juventus and Real Madrid were unable to lure the star away from Manchester.

The World Cup winner has had a terrible season so far as he has been battling ankle injuries as well as maintaining fitness. Pogba had ankle surgery and has had a quick recovery process. He was scheduled to return at the end of the season but his speedy recovery could see him return to the first-team action at the end of the month.

Pogba would be looking forward to getting back to full fitness and staying fit in order to represent France at the forthcoming European Championships this summer. Most importantly he would love to silence the critics who have been accusing him of not leaving up to expectations after his big-money move to Manchester from Turin in the summer of 2016.

However, Pogba favours a move back to Juventus as it has been rumoured that the reigning Italian league champions are eager to bring him back to his second home. Also, Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, has openly expressed his desire to work with the midfield maestro and the player has not denied his admiration for his football idol. Pictures have been seen of the duo meeting in Dubai last year October when Pogba was injured.

The arrival of Bruno Fernandes this January seems to have paved the way for Pogba’s exit as Manchester United would be willing to sell the wantaway star for £83 million. Both Real Madrid and Juventus would go head to head to secure the signature of the French man. Wherever his next destination is, one thing that is imminent is his departure this summer.
