The Plateau State Police Command has taken over the Dong community where suspected herdsmen had killed eight persons in a fresh attack on Sunday night.
Anxiety, Confusion, and fear was the mood of they people in Dong community.
The police were the first to be seen at the scene of the attack followed by sympathizers who were still in shock with some evidence of the attack.

A visually impaired man, Matthew Vigeh, who could barely hold his emotions lost his wife and two children to the attack.
His story is similar to that of Israel Obuchi, whose wife was killed. The people said it is the fourth time they have been attacked.
Another community left with the tale of sorrow, tears, and blood, hoping for any form of justice from the authority, but how soon the justice would come remains to be seen.
