The premises of the Plateau State House of Assembly was on Monday morning sealed by security operatives.
It was gathered that members of the State Assembly have been on break but have decided to reconvene to discuss developing issues.

According to a staff of the Assembly who pleaded anonymity, the situation is not unconnected to the two-week ultimatum given to Governor Simon Lalong to act on security issues in the state.
As of the time of filing this report, security operatives were seen both inside and outside the premises.
