Migrants in limbo at the shared border between Peru and Chile as Peruvian officials stepped up control at the frontier crossing to migrants seeking to cross through the Andean nation.
According to reports, the Peruvian National Police has blocked passage to a group of undocumented immigrants in the city of Tacna when they tried to cross the border from Chile.
Those affected include migrants from Haiti, Colombia, and Venezuela.
