Bauchi State Governor says if he is to contest the presidency come 2023, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will remain his best political party to run.
Bala Mohammed disclosed this when he received another coalition of youths and women groups from across the northeast zone who called on him to run.
Thousands of youths and women drawn from the northeast states said they are in Bauchi State Government House to reiterate their unalloyed support for Governor Mohammed, whom they described as the last option to take Nigeria where it is supposed to be.
The Bauchi State Governor appreciated the support being received from different parts of the country. He said Nigeria is wide in population and demography and requires a thorough consultation.
He said in no distant time, he will make his decision known.
The coalition like other groups is saying that their reason for Governor Mohammed to contest the country’s presidency is being informed by his track records as one time senator, former minister, and now the Bauchi State Governor, which possesses the requisite leadership qualities to govern Nigeria.
