PDP Warns Of Threats To Nigeria’s Democracy

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, wants Nigerians to brace up for the February 16, 2019, presidential election as a way of defending the nation against what it calls threats to the democracy being plotted by the present administration of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

National Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, made the call in Abuja at a news briefing.

Ologbondiyan said with the prevailing situation, the freedom, and personal liberty of the people are under threat.

The party said the February presidential election is a referendum on freedom in Nigeria, and called on all to embrace freedom by voting out the APC at the polls.
