Nigerians will have their passports delivered to their homes, offices, and other locations of their choice from February 2024.
Speaking atthe University Of Lagos,on Breaking the Borders of Partnership,’ The Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has said Tunji-Ojo said from January 2024, Nigerians would be able to complete the application process online.
“By implication, he said Nigerians will not need to wait longer than two weeks.
“This would also be extended to the visa application process as technology was being deployed to make the process as seamless as possible.
Twelve more visa application centres will be opened across the world. While the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will enforce the principle of reciprocity in visa processing.
