Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke said, his administration is determined to recover every penny owed to Osun state by companies operating in the state gold fields.
He made this known during the joint inauguration of the state government committee of Revenue and solid mineral, held at the Atiku/Okowa campaign office in Osogbo, Osun State capital
The governor expressed worry over the intense environmental degradation arising from the activities of mining companies noting his administration will not condole anything capable of tampering well-being of his people.
He urged the members of both committees to proffer workable solutions to address the challenges facing the mining sector as related to climate change as well as black leakages of loopholes in the revenue mobilization for the state.
