Osinbajo: Acquiring COVID-19 vaccines is Nigeria’s Top Priority

The Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo announced that Nigeria’s main priority now is acquiring COVID-19 vaccines.

According to a statement by the Vice President Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, there are plans to establish a virtual edition of the Paris Peace Forum, which would have features from the Head of State, Government and international bodies in a collective response to the growing pandemic.

Akande quoted the Vice President as follows, Nigeria’s priority now is improving health care and economy in the nation first is getting the virus under control, by acquiring the vaccines.

He further revealed that the W.H.O[World Health Organisation ] and other international bodies are working to ensure that the vaccines are fairly distributed across all countries.

Osinbajo appreciated leaders all across the world for their adequate response and contribution towards controlling the spread of the virus.
