Media Personality Oprah Winfrey has signed a deal to produce shows for the multinational Technology company, Apple.
According to the company in a statement, it offered details about Oprah’s role, who had hosted a widely popular talk show before leaving to start her own production company and dedicate time to philanthropic efforts.
Oprah and Apple will produce original programs that involve her capacity to connect around the world.
The deals include television shows, films and smartphone applications that will be distributed through Apple, although the terms of the deal were not stated.
This is not a first for Apple which has had previous deals with Jennifer Aniston and many other celebrities.
