Operation Hadarin Daji has revealed that a total of 18 women and five children have been rescued from the clutches of bandits at Wurma village within the Kurfi Local Government Area of Katsina State.
One of the bandits, Mohammed Saleh, was arrested by the troops while others fled into the wild abandoning the victims. Saleh has now been taken into confinement where he would be duly questioned and investigated.
The rescued victims along with 75 rustled livestock have now been reunited with their families.
