The Ondo state Government has said it will continue to encourage gender mainstreaming through inclusion of women in governance.
Special Adviser to Ondo State Governor on Gender, Olamide Falana disclosed at a a three day workshop on Gender Mainstreaming And Development of Gender Policy in partnership with Action Aid Nigeria in Akure, the state capital.
She said the training is designed to enhance gender responsive planning, budgeting and implementation process, while she congratulated the participants for being part of a global trend on gender awareness hence, the training will equip them for tasks ahead.
