The United States Embassy in Nigeria says the will of the voters must be allowed to prevail in Saturday’s governorship election in Ondo State.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Embassy asked all stakeholders- the political parties, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the security agencies to ensure the process is transparent, free, and fair.

The statement added: “The United States is a commitment to the U.S.-Nigeria partnership as both nations work together to achieve their mutual goals of peace and prosperity for the citizens of both countries.”
