Some factions of Manchester United fans have resumed their clamour for the exit of Ole Gunnar Soljskaer as the manager of the team.

The Red Devils lost their second game in a row after their 1-0 home defeat to Arsenal in the English Premier League.

Two brilliant counter-attacking goals dispatched by Demba Ba and Edin Visca were enough to secure three points for the Turkish team.

Despite a response from Anthony Martial minutes before half time, United was not able to level the game or mastermind a comeback.

However, Ole’s team still top Group H with six points after picking up important wins away at PSG and home to RB Leipzig. Notwithstanding, United’s performances on the field are a cause for worry.

Last night, United were only able to produce two shots on target despite having 62% ball possession. The team has struggled in front of goal as top striker Anthony Martial has only scored two goals this season, both in the Champions League.

There has also been an influx of goals conceded by last season’s Europa League semi-finalists. Ole is yet to establish a particular center-back pairing and has fielded 8 different players in defence.

The inconsistency now has some fans on the edge while others want Soljskaer to leave the club after two years at the helm thus far.

The former United striker now needs to steady the ship by earning the trust of the fans again and winning a trophy.
