Police in Ogun State have arrested Sixty-Nine suspected persons for involving in criminal activities.
While parading the suspects in Abeokuta, the state capital, the State’s commissioner of Police said those paraded include, 52 cultists who have been terrorizing state, 12 suspected kidnappers, 2 armed robbers, ritualist as well as a self-acclaimed Islamic cleric who specializes in defrauding unsuspecting members of the public.
The command’s Public Relations Officers DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi said the arrest of the suspects were part of the command’s effort at suppressing the menace of cultism and other vices across the state, particularly cult clashes in some part of the state.
