Nigerian Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, has urged people in the country to be less dependent on imported products, but find ways of using local technologies to transform raw materials into finished products.
The Minister spoke at Enugu, South East Nigeria after a facility tour of the venue of the forth coming science and technology expo at the Michael Okpara Square, Enugu.
The Science and Technology Minister said the vision of the current administration is to make Nigeria one of the acknowledged leaders of the scientifically and technologically developed nations of the world.
