As the Shiites protests continue to fan hotter in Abuja, The NUJ President, Chris Isiguzo has disclosed that indeed the protests are unnecessary and the Federal Government refusing to set the Islamic leader go will eventually lead to anarchy.
He further disclosed that the government needs to step up to the occasion and stop the fracas. He further disclosed while discussing on the NYSC Youth Corper, Precious Owolabi who lost his life as one of the casualties that the situation could have been avoided and that proper gears such as bulletproof vests should have been made available also that the Station should not have sent out a rookie to cover such sensitive matters.
