The Federal Government says there will be no sacred cows in enforcing the coronavirus prevention protocols when the trains resume passenger service.

The Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi while speaking to newsmen during the inspection of the completed Warri-Itakpe standard gauge rail line says persons that disobey the protocols in the trains will be compelled to alight from the coaches.

Mr Amaechi says the Federal Government is committed to ensuring the protection of Nigerians and will not tolerate any disobedience to laid down protocols including social distancing and wearing of facemasks.

He also expressed satisfaction at the quality of work done by the contractors in completing the thirty-year-old network abandoned by previous governments in just two and a half years.
