Elder statesman Edwin Clark says the sack of the policemen who carried out the raid in his Asokoro residence, in the Nigerian capital, for alleged possession of arms and ammunition, was not enough if future occurrences must be averted.

The ninety-two-year-old elder statesman has called on the Inspector – General of Police, Ibrahim Idris to carry out a holistic investigation into the matter, with a view to getting those involved to answer. He also insists that the dismissed policemen could not have acted or gotten a search warrant, without directives from a superior officer.

It would be recalled that on Tuesday Nigeria Police raided the home of the Nonagenarian.
