Following the announcement by the federal government of the approval of NGN 22.68 Billion for settlement of the retirement benefits of Ex-workers of the Nigerian Airways, the Pensioners were happy and grateful that after more than 15 years, they would finally receive their severance packages.
However, that Optimism has been replaced with complaints and anguish as the pensioners say they are grossly dissatisfied with the conduct of the ongoing verification exercise.
Plus TV Africa’s Ify Aronu reports that many are having to stay overnight at the Lagos venue of the Verification exercise at Murtala International Airport.
