This was revealed as health experts converged on Abuja to chart a new way forward to tackling the ailment

They say the high rate of Tuberculosis in Nigeria is alarming as about six hundred thousand are infected every year out of which sixty thousand are children

The federal ministry of health while disclosing that Nigeria has the lowest tuberculosis case detection in Africa which is less than thirty percent, says it will expand available treatment, integrating it into maternal and reproductive health services
