In the last 24 hours, Nigeria has discharged 220 Covid-19 patients. This brings the total number of successfully treated cases in the country to 48,092.
There are 18 states that have recorded 131 new Covid-19 infections with the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now 56,732.
The states with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-45; Kaduna and Plateau-17 each; FCT-16; Delta and Niger-6 each and Kwara-5. Others are Oyo-3; Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Ekiti, Enugu, Osun and Sokoto-2; Bauchi, Ebonyi, Katsina and Rivers-1 each.
There are two more Covid-19 deaths reported in Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the national death toll now 1,093.
