From March 1, all Niger State Civil Servants, are to resume their duty posts. The civil servants were directed by the State Government to work from home late last year.
The directive was aimed at averting the spread of the second wave of Coronavirus in the state.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Muhammad Sani Idris, stated this during a Post Executive Council meeting briefing in Minna, the state capital.
Idris hinted that those affected are civil servants below grade level 12.
He stressed the need for all civil servants to observe all the Covid-19 safety protocols. The Commissioner maintained that already, Ministries, Departments, and Agencies have been provided with hand sanitizers for use at the points of entry.
