Niger State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has expelled a former Deputy Governor and Nigeria’s former Ambassador to South Africa, Ahmad Ibeto and the Commissioner for Justice, Nasara Dan Malam.
In a statement, the state Chairman of the party, Jibrin Imam, said a delegation of party faithful from Magama Local Government Area, along with representatives from different wards, presented letters of a petition against them, alleging anti party activities.
The Chairman of Ibeto ward, Danlami Muhammad, presented the letter of the expulsion of Ambassador Ibeto and four others.

The state party Chairman emphasized that the APC is a party of fairness and justice.
He assured the delegation that a committee would be set up to investigate the matter within two weeks.
He further said that anyone found guilty of the alleged offense would face the wrath of the law, in accordance with the provisions of the party’s constitution.
