The chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN in Kaduna state, Reverend Joseph Hayab has observed that for Nigeria to move forward, the citizens must put aside tribal and religious sentiments when voting in this year’s polls.

According to him, merit should come first in elections and appointments.

He urged all eligible voters to endeavour to come out and vote and get rid of election riggers.

Hayab said he hoped to see farmers having a bountiful harvest which can only be possible when there is peace in every part of the country, especially the rural communities and the government provides all that farmers need to be productive.
