As the race for the 10th National Assembly leadership of Red and green chambers continue to heighten, Group under the auspices of Arewa Young professionals in Politics has called on the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC to consider Zoning senate presidency to south east and speakership to Northwest for political inclusion and national cohesion.
The group said its imperative to distribute power fairly to foster a sense of belonging for every region and religion, to prevent any divisive tension that could undermine the government’s effectiveness.
Addressing a press conference at Arewa house, Kaduna, convener of the group mallam yusuf Amoke says, for national peace and unity each region must be carried along.
They added that the North west contributed massive votes for the emergence of the APC president elect and should be compensated with the speaker of the house of representative.
