NAFDAC has reportedly confiscated ₦12.5 Million worth of Tramadol, well hidden in 5 Bags of Garri in Anambra State.
Moji Adeyeye, the DG of NAFDAC made the statement in Onitsha on Wednesday.
Adeyeye while discussing on the effect of Drugs on our society revealed that a whopping 70% of boys in Kano State are hooked on some drug or the other while abused women and children turn to the substances to overcome depression.
She encouraged the government to approve the Drug Safety Bill which would increase the penalty for illegal peddling of Drugs.
