N.D.L.E.A.: Buba Marwa Steps Up Surveillance On Local Routes

The Chairman and chief executive officer of the National drug law enforcement agency, general Buba Marwa has began rural access and transit routes surveillance of interstate boundary in the war against narcotics drugs as over eight hundred hectares of farm lands with about six thousand metric tonnes has been destroyed in the last two years.

Marwa gave this insight in Igumale, headquarters of Ado local government area of Benue state at the boundary with Ebonyi state during the foundation laying ceremony for the Area office.

The Chairman of the NDLEA also commissioned a twenty kilometer rural road from Igumale to Ijigban, a constituency project initiated by the house committee chairman on narcotic drugs at the House of Representatives.
