The Christian Association of Nigeria has stated that it has not changed its stance against the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the All Progressives Congress.
Faulting the politicization of the presence of APC Presidential candidate, Tinubu at the 70th birthday celebration of the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Rev. Matthew Kukah, in Abuja, the Christian body in a statement released by CAN President’s Special Assistant (Media and Strategic Communication), Luminous Jannamike, and titled, “Muslim-Muslim Ticket: CAN maintains its position”, said claims of changing its stance on the ticket is ridiculous, malicious, untrue and should be disregarded in its entirety by all reasonable members of the society.
