Kingsley Fanwo, Commissioner for Information and Communications in Kogi, said the state government knows nothing about the arrest and involvement of some persons in the alleged money laundering.
meanwhile a statement on the website of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) started that some people were arraigned for laundering money, suspected to be officials of the Kogi government.
The commissioner however called on the anti-graft agency to do a thorough check on the allegations and urged Kogi citizens to be law abiding.
