American rapper Meek Mill has been chastised on social media after clips from his recently released video contained frames of the Ghanaian presidential house.

Meek Mill spent half of December in Ghana, where he performed at the Afro nation festival.

During his tour to Ghana, Meek Mill went to the presidential palace and met with Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo, where he captured several shots inside the presidential palace during his visit, which were included in his promotional video.

Ghanaians were outraged by the footage and expressed their disgust on Twitter, calling his behavior rude.

Meek Mill took to Twitter to apologize to the people of Ghana for whatever annoyance his actions may have caused. His behavior, he claims, was motivated by a desire to embrace culture.
