The McLaren Group has announced a partnership deal with the professional cycling team, Bahrain Merida, after signing a deal to become a 50% partner in the team.
Team Bahrain Merida was founded in 2017 and hopes to be a force to reckon with on the Grand Tours, having signed 2014 Tour de France winner, Vincenzo Nibali as one of their riders.
This new deal expands McLaren’s reach in sports, with the company having a team in Formula 1.
