The Kebbi State Government has allegedly deployed helicopters for the aerial spray of the affected farms, following the recent invasion of Rice farms by locusts in the state.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the locust invasion largely affected farms located in Ambursa near Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

The government assured its farmers that the spray will continue for the next 2 days in all affected areas in the state, ensuring that the farmers are adequately supported in preventing any further outbreak of pests on their farms.
